Community Adoption

As a service to the local community, we sometimes post information about cats that are in need of homes and available for adoption here.

Two Adoptable Bonded Male Cats:

King + Ube

King (Black + White, M, 4 years old) and Ube (Black, M, 3 years old) were originally adopted to be emotional support cats for a college student. They did their job so well that their person not only graduated but is embarking on extended international travel and cannot take them with. So, they suddenly found themselves homeless.

It has been a team effort saving these sweet boys who have only been loving, kind and supportive to humans. It is now their turn to be loved and spoiled.

Although they are not brothers, King and Ube are bonded best friends, so we are seeking a home where they can stay together.

King is quieter of the two and is very devoted and adoring to his human, once he gets to know you. He is a bit shy when he first meets someone. Ube is a more independent and loves to play, cuddle with his brother and sleep in the bed at night.

We will evaluate them further when they arrive, but we expect them to do well in any loving, indoor home. They are going through a lot; their whole world has been turned upside down; and they will have travelled a substantial distance to get to AAC. So, we are looking for a family or person who will be patient and give them time to adjust to their new world.
